What is TARGET?
TARGET is a program that sets our student’s on a 3 level journey. Each level is made up of 12 different skill categories that the student must pass in order to earn a virtual badge and a token for that level. Once a level is completed, the next level begins, until level 3 is completed which will greatly benefit that student’s status as a well-rounded and skilled martial artist.
Along the journey students will earn tokens and rewards. The tokens can be redeemed for a variety of things at the front desk. This token system helps to teach students about currency as well as earning only after hard work.
Why was TARGET created?
TARGET was created to enrich and enhance our student’s martial arts experience and skills, while aiding in the development of qualities that are important to develop as a martial artist.
Who was TARGET created for?
TARGET is a program for all students ages 6-18. However, the program runs like a game, so all ages are welcome to participate and enjoy the fun!
Where does TARGET take place?
TARGET takes place at the dojo. It can also take place at home, or out in the community. The expanse of each student’s TARGET experience is based on their involvement in the program. Each student will get the benefit and the amount of fun out of the program that they allow themselves to experience.
