The IMAA Student creed is recited by all of our students before every class.

Students are encouraged to learn to recite the creed by memory. This is one of the first tests of our students' focus and determination.

Instructor assistance in these areas is available in the few minutes prior to the start of class. In order for a student to test for their Green belt however, a student must be able to preform these skills by themselves.

Helpful Links for Students

Nothing can replace the time spent learning in class, but there is so much that can be learned on the internet which can be of use to our students if they wish to further their knowledge.

Here are a few web links which may help:

Belt Specific Resources

Picture

From White belt all the way to Black belt, we will build our students' skill in Kenpo Karate as well as their physical and mental fitness. Each belt level brings with it new challenges and goals for the IMAA student. Advancement is never an automatic occurrence, students must pass their progressively more difficult belt tests every step of the way. The following pages give an outline of the types of challenges that are in store for our students and can be used as a guide as each student works up to their respective belt test.
