At Home

The following are all ways in which you can continue your training, keep fit, and stay connected with the academy's community while we practice caution by keeping physical distance from one another. You are encouraged to participate in each and every way.

Instructor Taught Zoom Classes

Below is the Online Classes schedule.
Classes are a half hour each due to software limitations.
Make sure that you have ample space around you for class. 
Because class time is short, please spend an adequate amount of time warming up before class and stretching after class.

Instructor Lesson Plans -Classes On Your Own

It will require a lot of self-discipline to complete an at home class on your own. Making yourself do something that you may not be motivated to do but you know that you should do is a great way to strengthen your self-discipline "muscle."

All submissions will receive either class credit or partial / full token credit.
Both of which can help you earn tokens and make you eligible to test when your test date comes around.

You Practicing Your Form:

You Doing a Martial Arts Inspired Workout:
Send a video of you doing an inspired workout to imatopsfield@gmail.com.
You Doing Your Defenses:
Send a video of you doing your defenses to imatopsfield@gmail.com. 
You Doing Any / All of Your Fitness:
Send a video of you doing your jumping jacks, push-ups, front bridge, and or horse stance to imatopsfield@gmail.com. 

Ongoing Challenges:

The following are worth 3 credits each. 
You may submit 1 (for credit) of each of the following, for a total possible 12 credits.
300 Jumping Jacks in Under 3 min:
Send a video of you doing 300 jumping jacks in under 3 minutes to imatopsfield@gmail.com.
50 Squats in Under 1 min and 20 seconds:
Send a video of you doing 50 squats in under a minute and 20 seconds to imatopsfield@gmail.com. 
50 Push-ups in Under 1 min:
Send a video of you doing 50 push-ups in under a minute to imatopsfield@gmail.com.
300 Kicks in Under 4 minutes:
Send a video of you doing 300 kicks in under 4 minutes to imatopsfield@gmail.com. 

Ongoing Skill Building:

The following are worth 5 credits each.
You may submit 1 (for credit) of each of the following, for a total possible 20 credits.
Hold a Handstand:
Send a video of you holding a handstand for 1 FULL second to imatopsfield@gmail.com.
Get a Full Split:
Send a photo of you in a full split (any direction) to imatopsfield@gmail.com.
Get a Backbend:
Send a video of you doing a backbend to imatopsfield@gmail.com. 
Hold a Headstand:
Send a video of you holding a headstand for at least 10 seconds to imatopsfield@gmail.com.
