As with all belts, the following list is only a basic requirement for advancement. To be eligible to test you will have to have a deeper knowledge and understanding of all that we cover in class.

Orange belt students will begin to learn more advanced concepts in attacking such as Open hand blocks and kicks along with new kick techniques. The form for Orange ​​belt students at IMAA is called Kata 1.

​1. 15 Push ups without coming out of a push-up position​
2. 400 Jumping Jacks
3. Horse Stance for 1 minute and 10 seconds​​
4. Front Bridge / Plank for 40 seconds
Form Stripe
Demonstrate basic understanding and execution of the Orange belt form, Kata 1
Self Defense Stripe
Single Wrist Grab
