Yellow belt students will increase their focus and skills by advancing the basic concepts they have already learned. Physical endurance and determination will be increased and will be needed for the more difficult test required for advancement. The form for Yellow belt students at IMAA is called Pinan 2.
Requirements for advancement
As with all belts, the following list is only a basic requirement for advancement. To be eligible to test you will have to have a deeper knowledge and understanding of all that we cover in class.
Yellow Belt
Fitness Stripe 1. 12 Push ups without coming out of a push-up position
2. 300 Jumping Jacks 3. Horse Stance for 50 seconds 4. Front Bridge / Plank for 30 seconds |
Form Stripe Demonstrate basic understanding and execution of the Yellow belt form, Pinan 2
